Dubai, Jan. 29 (BNA): HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport President, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Captain of the Bahrain Endurance Team 13 Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa clinched the fourth place in the opening race of the Nasser bin Hamad Triple Crown, held here, with the participation of 1,200 athletes from all over the world.

Shaikh Nasser finished the 113-kilometre distance in 4:09:05 as he completed the 500-metre swimming race in 13:19, the 90-kilometre cycling race in 2:26:17 and the 21.9-kilometre running race in 1:25:55.

Sheikh Nasser was crowned by Shaikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktou after crossing the finishing line.

Shaikh Nasser praised the outstanding results of the Bahrain Endurance 13 team whose members Jan Frodeno and Daniela Ryf attained first places in the men and women categories after finishing the races in 03:34:48 and 04:01:09 respectively.
