Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has commended the pioneering cultural role of the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque, saying that this great institution is a centre of cultural and urban enlightenment in Abu Dhabi and the region.

These remarks were made, when Shaikh Khalid visited the mosque on the sidelines of his visit to the country. He and his accompanying delegation were received by Yousuf Al Obaidly, director of the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Shaikh Khalid said that the Sheikh Zayed Mosque has a great role in boosting the values of tolerance, brotherhood and dialogue among various cultures, through its diversified activities and outstanding initiatives.
