Shura Council hails hosting ACHR headquarters in Bahrain

Manama, May 26 (BNA) – Shura Council welcomed Bahrain’s initiative to host Arab Court for Human Rights International Conference, which is being held under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing Arab’s unanimous agreement on hosting ACHR’s headquarters in Bahrain.


Shura Council, in statement issued today, underscored Bahrain’s high standing and reputation in promoting and preserving human rights that qualifies Bahrain to win Arab’s confidence and support for hosting ACHR’s headquarters.

The statement lauded the efforts of Bahrain’s leadership in promoting human rights, and underlined the ACHR’s role to be played in protecting human rights in Arab region in accord with Arab aspirations.

The statement emphasized the conference’s outcomes that will be positively reflected on development and human rights areas.
