Manama, Sep 28 (BNA) – Council of Representatives Speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani, today received UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Iain Lindsay, and hailed the deep-rooted bilateral relations and the UK Ambassador’s efforts in boosting Bahrain-UK cooperation.

Representatives Speaker reviewed topics of joint interest, and noted both countries’ keenness to promote bilateral cooperation in all areas.

UK Ambassador praised Bahrain’s leadership’s resolve to expand mutual cooperation. He highlighted his country’s welcome to HM the King’s national project, and the UK and international community’s support for Bahrain for its interest in the upcoming national elections, which translates HM the King’s support for the democratic process.
