Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): The Legal Committee of the Sports Dispute Resolution Panel is meeting this Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel in Manama.

The meeting will be chaired by advisor Mohammed Al Kamali, secretary general of the UAE Olympic Committee and member of Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The panel is an initiative of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aimed at finding solutions to major sports dispute in the Arab region.

Bahrain Olympic Committee general secretary Abdulrahman Askar, who is heading the Bahrain side at the meeting, noted the importance of such committee instead of relying on other international sports organisations to solve their disputes.
