Manama, Dec. 2 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder praised the member of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) board of directors chairwoman of the Sportswomen’s Committee and Chairman of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, Shaikha Hayat bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa , upon her obtaining the International Olympic Committee (IOC)’s Award2015 for the Asian continent as an honour to the Bahraini women, citing their past and present contributions in various fields, especially youth and sports, and praising Shaikha Hayat’s outstanding performance in serving the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom.
The minister made these remarks during the SCYS-held honouring ceremony for Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, on the occasion of her obtaining the IOC Award2015.

The honouring ceremony was attended by several directors in the minister, and players who participated in Discover Bahrain Talent Programme.
