Sports psychology course concludes

Manama, Dec. 10 (BNA): Thirty nine sports officials attended a course on sports psychology, which came to a close today.


Participants included 16 from Saudis, three each from Kuwait and Oman, in addition to 17 from host country Bahrain.

The four-day course was organized by the Sports Training Development Centre, which is under the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) umbrella.

It was conducted by centre director and International instructor Nabil Taha, as the course brought up several themes such as the use of positive psychology concepts as well as character creation, teams cohesion, decision-making and delegation of authority.

All participants received their certificates at the end of the course, while BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar welcomed the entrants from across the GCC and thanked them for taking part.
