Manama, May31 (BNA) Minister of State for Information Affairs and Government’s Official Spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab congratulated Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) Chairman and board members on their election, hailing the probity and transparency of the democratic polls.

The minister stressed the important role of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) in promoting the press profession, preserving work ethics and reflecting the true image of the homeland and people.

She commended officials in Bahrain for continuously supporting and encouraging the press and journalists, in line with the drive of the leadership to consolidate and anchor the freedom of opinion.
