Manama, Nov16(BNA)Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa today received at Bahrain International Airport former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who arrived in Manama to take part in the 38th Interarab Cambist Association (ICA) Conference.
Bahrain is hosting the three-day event, which concludes tomorrow (Nov17), under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
Mr. Al-Mutawa hailed strong historic relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and France, stressing steadily-growing cooperation in all fields.
He commended the participation of President Sarkozy, who is scheduled to address 38th Interarab Cambist Association (ICA) Conference, lauding his international experience as a leader of France, one of the political and economic powers in the world.
Former French President Sarkozy also expressed delight at visiting Bahrain and hailed the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, lauding strong bilateral relations.
