Streetsmart Publications Inc. Selects EverAge Consulting To Create iBook Version Of Boutique Travel Guide, Streetsmart Bahrain: An Insiders' Guide to the Kingdom

Bedford, Nova Scotia (PRWEB) January 30, 2014

EverAge Consulting has created an iBook version of Streetsmart Bahrain in partnership with author, Melissa van Maasdyk.

“The print copy launched in March 2012 and everyone loved it. It was well received,” says Streetsmart Bahrain: An Insiders’ Guide to the Kingdom (available on iTunes) author Melissa van Maasdyk. “People were constantly saying ‘where’s the iBook or where’s the e-book at least. Finally, I decided it was time and I approached EverAge Consulting and together we created an adaptation of the book that actually takes it to a whole new level,” adds Maasdyk.

“The challenge was to stay true to the original book, while fully exploiting the new technology, and reformatting for the iPad dimensions,” says Andrew Wilcox, President of EverAge Consulting. “We were able to convert the book from its original InDesign format to the iBook format. The conversion included the migration of all text and images, as well as the creation of several custom widgets,” he adds.
