Sultanate’s embassies organise events to mark National Day

The Sultanate’s embassies in a number of countries including Iran, Bahrain, Egypt, Tunisia and the Philippines besides the consulate in Mumbai (India) have organised events to mark the 43rd National Day of the country.

1385042879612283700Salim bin Musallam bin Bakheet Misann, Charge D’affaires of the Sultanate’s Embassy in Tehran, hosted a reception which was attended by Ali Janati, Iran’s Minister of Culture and Guidance, Directors General at the Foreign Ministry, Chairman of the Iranian side at the Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Chairman of the Military Friendship Committee between the two countries, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Iranian people and private institutions and military figures, as well as the military attaches accredited to Iran, besides a number of invitees.
The Sultanate’s Embassy in Bahrain hosted a reception under the auspices of Sayyid Tariq bin Mussalam al Busaidy, Charge D’affaires.
The reception was attended by Ghanim bin Fadhl al Buainain, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Hussain bin Omar al Ibrahim, Sultanate’s ambassador to Tunisia, hosted a reception.
The reception was attended by a number of Tunisian ministers and officials.
The Sultanate’s Embassy in Philippines hosted a reception under the patronage of Abdullah bin Omar al-Haddad, Charge D’affaires.
The reception was attended by Albert del Rosario, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs in Philippines and senior officials.
During the reception, a documentary was screened on the progress made by the Sultanate. — ONA
