Support for charity event

DAR Akhbar Al Khaleej and Chevron Bahrain have signed on as gold sponsors of the third Open Charity Football Penalty Shoot-out Championship, in aid of Special Olympics Bahrain, to be held on Saturday at the Shaikh Isa Sports City arena in Riffa.

Dar Akhbar Al Khaleej general manager P J James handed over the sponsorship deed to chief organiser Cherian Mathews, in the presence of Special Olympics Bahrain national director Mohammed Al Matooq and the event’s marketing coordinator Abdul Fattah Kamal.

Meanwhile, Chevron Bahrain country chairman Abdul Majeed Shafea met Special Olympics Bahrain officials, headed by board member Nasser Mohamed Kawaz, along with Mathews and Kamal and offered the gold sponsorship for the event.
