Manama, Nov. 18 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa chaired at the BDF General Command today the meeting of the Supreme Council for Military Retirement.
Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma and Lieutenant-General Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel were present.
The panel discussed its general policies regarding the achievements and management of the Military Pension Fund.
It also discussed the management and investment of the Military Retirement Fund’s money, as well as the Fund’s future policies.
The commander-in-chief commended the efforts exerted by the Fund’s members and director, and urged to come up with new ideas and visions to ensure the continuity and development of the Fund, stressing keenness to protect the military retirees’ money and put forward more systems and laws that brings about more benefits for them.
Director of Military Judiciary Brigadier-General Youssef Rashid Flaifal, General Manager of the Military Pension Fund Brigadier-General Khalid Mohammed Al-Mannae and the Fund’s Financial Director Brigadier-General Ibrahim Abdulla Al-Mahmoud also attended.
