Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior (MOI)’s recent report has exposed Iran’s involvement in the terrorist bomb attack in Sitra village on Tuesday, July 28, which resulted in the martyrdom of two security men and injured six others.
Iran was actively involved in smuggling weapons and explosives by sea shortly before the day on which this terroristic crime took place, which indicates Iran’s hostile intentions against the Kingdom of Bahrain and exposed Iranian interferences in the Kingdom’s internal affairs which are not confined to hostile statements only but also included Iranian financial support, weapons training and the provision of explosives to terrorists.
The ministry’s statement unraveled Iran’s so-called revolutionary guard which is Iran’s official military organ under the direct supervision of its supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, committed numerous crimes indictable under international law.
Iran’s blatant meddling includes the following forms among others:
Iran continues to harbour runaway outlaws and trains terrorists on its territories in the revolutionary guard camps to carry out terrorist attacks in Bahrain which is a peaceful neighborly country that has not expressed any hostility.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has always been observant of the “principles of good neighborliness” which has no place or meaning in Iran’s theocratic lexicon which only includes uninvited intervention in the local affairs of other countries and exporting the so-called revolution to the world.
Weapons and explosives, including highly explosive C4 substance, were smuggled from Teheran to the Kingdom of Bahrain in large quantities. Iran exploits fugitives and terrorists to carry out terrorist attacks to undermine the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national security and stability. The quantity of explosives seized by Ministry of Interior recently seriously indicates Iran’s malicious intentions against Bahrain, including the foiled attempt to smuggle weapons, explosives from Iran to Bahrain on July 15 and the cache seized in a warehouse in Dar Kulaib in June. Also, Bahrain unraveled several terrorist cells in the past four years financed, trained and supplied by Iran with explosive materials, weapons and ammunition.
Iran lures and indoctrinates outlaws exploiting religious factors and push them to implement criminal attacks against their homeland. Confessions of arrested culprits who implemented the terrorist attacks revealed Iran’s standing behind the acts of violence and blasts which occur in Bahrain to create crisis and threaten civic peace in the Kingdom.
Iran financially supports criminal elements. Investigations revealed that the so-called “al-Wafa movement” which acts as the religious leadership for many groups that implement terrorist attacks in Bahrain received monthly payments from the so-called Iranian “revolutionary guard”.
Instead of availing from the nuclear deal to open up a new page in its poor relations with the rest of the world countries, Iran has chosen the wrong path it has always been addicted to, and this is clear from the hostile statements of its leaders which indicate Iran’s desire to impose its hegemony over the region’s countries and to export sabotage and destruction to its peaceful neighbors. Thank God, the vigilant eyes of Bahrain were able to confront and foil these immoral saboteurs exported by Iran in breach of international law.
Thanks to the Interior Ministry’s efficient, alert personnel’s prompt foiling of the terrorist plots and their blood-and-soul sacrifices to maintain the nation’s stability and safety of citizens, during these critical times in which the region has been subjected to a rising wave of terrorism backed by Iran’s so-called “revolutionary guard”.
HM the King, HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister have expressed the leadership’s continuous support to the security agencies in all aspects to carry out their assigned duties, including the provision of equipment and training.
The Bahraini people reiterated their full supportive stances to all measures taken by the security agencies to protect national development accomplishments and gains and confront acts of violence and sabotage, foil terrorist plots, seize weapons and explosives, arrest the culprits, their accomplices, financiers, and plotters of terrorist operations. To maintain national security and stability and combat violence and terrorism is the collective duty and responsibility of each and everyone in supporting security men and the provision of all means to facilitate the performance of their duties in defending the nation’s security and stability.
The international community today is urged to confront Iran’s attempts at spreading terrorism in the region. The Iranian regime should refrain from undermining the Kingdom of Bahrain’s security and stability as well as that of the region and the world.
The international community is well aware of Iranian state’s sponsorship of terrorism. The Iranian regime constitutes a destabilizing factor in the Middle East. International reports affirmed Iran’s terroristic activities since 2011 as Iran exploited the wave of chaos roiling in the region. Iran provides logistic and financial support to armed terrorist groups all over the Middle East.
The regime in Iran should heed to its domestic problems in lieu of exporting its own problems to other countries. Iran’s budget is wasted meanwhile poverty and unemployment in Iran has reached 40%. Crime rate continues to rise in Iran as domestic pressure mounts against the Iranian regime and its machinations and plots which do not serve its citizens.
The Kingdom of Bahrain unwaveringly continues to protect its people and defend the fatherland against any attempts at undermining its national security and stability. The Kingdom of Bahrain is an indisputable Arab, Islamic country and its loyal people remain invincible forever and capable of crushing the conspiracies of conspirators on the rock of national unity and the loyal people’s allegiance to their wise leadership.
