Bangkok, November 30th (BNA) –Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met today with Thailand Premier, Yingluck Shinawatra in the Capital Bangkok, where she praised the results of the meetings of senior officials of the two countries through the Bahraini-Thai Supreme Committee’s meetings, which ended its works today.
Shaikh Khalid conveyed to the Thai Premier the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Prime Minister’s Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince’s and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, wishing her and the Thai people all progress and welfare.
The Bahraini-Thai joint supreme committee forms the framework of the bilateral relations between the two countries to raise the mutual cooperation and coordination between them in the areas of commerce, industry and investment.
Both sides expressed their relief for the outcomes of the meetings, where Bahraini Foreign Minister stressed the importance of developing the existing partnership between the two friendly countries, particularly in the areas of food security, energy and medical tourism.
For her part, the Thai Premier hailed Bahrain’s great concern to consolidate the partnership between the two countries for their interests, commending the development of the relations between ASEAN and the GCC states.
