With new styling and exciting features, Zayani Motors, the exclusive dealers of Mitsubishi in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announces the arrival of the stunning 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander.

The new 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander features a bold new exterior design, an eloquent yet functional interior space, and over 100 engineering and design improvements to the platform for better structural rigidity, ride quality and reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). It is the first model to feature the brand’s new front design language “Dynamic Shield,” and the look is heavy on chrome with a chrome grille and vertical chrome accents that border a piano-black bumper treatment. New rear styling includes LED taillights that extend into the liftgate and a restyled bumper. Heated side mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels are standard.

The 2016 models come with two different engines; the Outlander GLX engine comes with 2.4 L MIVEC, 4-cylinder engine with 222 (22.6)/4100 max torque, while the Outlander GLC features a 3.0 L MIVC 6-cylinder engine with 292 (29.8)/3750 max torque. Both engines provide the benefits of the high power output, low fuel consumption, and low exhaust emissions.

This year, the Outlander gets more soft-touch materials inside, including a redesigned steering wheel, new accent trim on the doors and dashboard, and upgraded seating and headliner material. The folding rear seat has been revamped for easier operation.

The interiors feature standard equipment, including automatic climate control; an ECO mode; a tilting and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls; a leather-wrapped shift knob; a six-speaker, 140-watt audio system with Fuse Hands-Free Link System with a USB port; power windows, door locks, and mirrors; and 60/40 split second-row seats and 50/50 split third-row seats.

Safety features include seven airbag system including driver’s knee air bag, front air bags, front seat mounted side-impact air bags and 1st and 2nd-row occupants curtain side air bags. ABS with electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, hill start assist, active stability control with Traction Control Logic (TCL) are standard features. SEL and GT trims are available with advanced safety tech, including forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.

“The new Outlander is here to impress one and all. Its new styling and advanced options are a go getter,” said General Manager, Mohamemd Zaki.

Buyers can benefit with the 10 years or 1 Million kms warranty which is transferable to the next owner and builds on high resale value. It is also the only warranty which is transferable and covered all over the GCC.
