Washington, Sept. 27 (BNA): The Bahraini delegation, taking part in “This is Bahrain” function in the USA from September 24 to 29, has paid a visit to the Buddhist temple in Washington at an invitation by the Chief of the Buddhist monks in Washington.
The delegation, headed by Secretary General of Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) Betsy Mathieson, listened to the monks’ prayers and spiritual rituals while carrying candles.

A cooperation charter was signed at the end of the visit by the BFEA Secretary General and the Chief of the monks to promote peace and tolerance and renounce sectarianism, discrimination and all forms of terrorism and religious extremism.
