MANAMA: The SME Development and Support Centre of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) yesterday began a training programme on international trade.
The third instalment of the programme “Am I exportable?” focuses on understanding international trade, trade finance, foreign exchange and international laws governing export.
The programme addresses related topics such as methods of payment, an in-depth look at the sales contract, fundamental knowledge of foreign exchange, basic understanding of Incoterms 2010 and the understanding of an export consortium.
The course will be conducted by Malaysian business expert coach Hasril Bin Noordin, who is a certified instructor in a number of universities and specialised institutes.
BCCI chief executive Nabeel Al Mahmood said the programme is a platform for Bahraini SMEs to benefit from the experience of the Malaysian expert to expand into international markets.
