Training success for BDO staff

Manama: BDO Bahrain, a leading professional services firm, conducted a workshop for updating their staff, amongst other matters, on BDO audit methodology, the audit process tool (APT) and international auditing standards.

The training workshop covered BDO International Audit Methodology updates on the audit process including planning and execution of audit using risk based approach and provided updates on client acceptance procedures and sampling techniques. It also included an update on the enhanced features built in BDO’s APT software and recent global developments in the audit practice.

In addition, the staff were trained on regulatory compliance requirements including the Central Bank of Bahrain rule book, AAIOFI standards, IFRS and the Bahrain Commercial Companies Law.

More than 60 participants attended the two-day workshop.
