Paris, June 19 (BNA)– Transportation Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed met here today Turkish Deputy Defence Minister Hasan Kemal Yard?mc? and Deputy Undersecretary at Turkey’s Undersecretariat for Defence Industries Serdar Demirel during a visit they paid to Bahrain’s pavilion at the 50th International Paris Air Show -Le Bourget 2013.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of a visit to France to attend the airshow which is held from June 17 to 23 and in line with the Transportation Ministry’s efforts to promote Bahrain International Airshow 2014.

The Transportation Minister discussed ways of bolstering bilateral relations and cooperation in the aviation industry field and invited the Turkish companies to take part in the next Bahrain International Airshow.

He also paid a visit to the Turkish pavilion and met the President of Turkey’s Aviation Industries Company who presented him with a detailed account on the firm’s activities. He also met the President of Turkey’s Planes Engineering and Maintenance Company and listened to a briefing about the firm’s evolution, plans and services in maintaining civil and military planes.
