Two Bahrain police killed in ‘terror’ blast: ministry – Digital Journal

An explosion has killed two policemen and wounded six others in a Shiite-dominated area of Bahrain, the interior ministry said Tuesday, describing it as a “terror” attack.

The blast in Sitra island, the scene of frequent clashes between security forces and Shiite demonstrators, comes days after the Sunni-ruled kingdom announced it had foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons from rival Iran.
