UEFA investiga a Lazio por cánticos antisemitas

Nyon, Suiza — La UEFA aguarda por un informe de la Asociación Inglesa de Fútbol sobre los supuestos cánticos antisemitas de parte de hinchas de la Lazio dirigidos a Tottenham durante un partido por la Liga Europa.

La FA inglesa señaló que su supervisor del público que acudió al partido del jueves “entregará un informe urgente” a la UEFA sobre los incidentes en el Estadio Olímpico de Roma.

La UEFA señaló que aguarda por los informes de la FA y de su propio delegado en el encuentro, el finlandés Teuvo Holopainen.

El partido fue disputado en medio de tensión tras los ataques a seguidores de Tottenham el miércoles en un bar en el centro de Roma.

El organismo rector del fútbol europeo multó a la Lazio con 40.000 euros (51.600 dólares) por la conducta racista de sus seguidores cuando los equipos se enfrentaron en septiembre en Londres.
