UK Ambassador praises the role of Bahrain and RCO in humanitarian and relief …

Manama: Sept. 15 — (BNA)– Dr Mustafa Al-Sayed, Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), received at his office H.E. Mr. Iain Lindsay, the British Ambassador, where discussion took place about the excellent cooperation between RCO and the British charity humanitarian organisations.

Bahrain’s experience in the field of charity and humanitarian work was explained and its cooperation with its British counterparts was highlighted, a relationship that culminated in His Highness Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, recognising His Highness Shaikh Nasser and the efforts of RCO.

Full presentation was made to HE, the Ambassador, where the mission and vision of the Royal Charity Organisation were explained and a pictorial presentation of the projects carried out by Bahrain in various disaster-stricken areas worldwide, was given.

It was explained that the RCO’s success stemmed from the foresight of His Majesty the King, the Honorary President of RCO, and the dynamic guidance of his son His Highness Shaikh Nasser, the Chairman of RCO.

HE, the Ambassador, was full of praise for the efficient and spontaneous efforts of Bahrain in the field of the Charity and Humanitarian aid which is the main factor of its success.

HE, the Ambassador, stated that RCO is lucky to have His Majesty the King as its visionary leader, supported by the dynamic His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. ((IY))
