Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Dr. Nabil Mohammed Abu Al-Fath has received here the Malaysian Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmad Shahizan Abd Samad.

Dr. Abu Al-Fath highlighted the ministry’s keenness to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise with friendly countries in order to boost sustainable development and ensure optimum use of resources, in line with the directives of Minister Issam bin Abdulla Khalaf in this regard.

He highlighted the possibility of availing of Malaysia’s expertise in the fields of tree planting, beautification and increasing green areas, as well as municipal development projects.

The ambassador lauded the Government of Bahrain’s interest in strengthening ties with Malaysia, expressing pride in Bahraini-Malaysian relations of friendship and cooperation.
