Universal Laboratories (Bahrain), a leading calibration and testing  laboratory, is showcasing its expanded capabilities in areas including metal testing, calibration of bio-medical instruments as well as sales and service of weighing scales and electrical instruments at the Gulf Industry Fair.

A joint venture between Uneeco Group and Cyprus-based Globetech Laboratories, the Bahraini firm has been serving the kingdom and Middle East customers for more than 10 years since its formation in 2002.

Universal Laboratories is a leading supplier of high-quality, competitively priced instrumentation and tools to the different types of industry.

The company’s aim is to substantially support government’s efforts in the areas of metrology, calibration, and testing in the country, while offering its clients high-quality services and solutions, said a company spokesman.

Universal undertakes sensory, physical, chemical and microbiological analyses of water.

The laboratory, which is supported by mobile units, is well equipped with apparatus that ensure high accuracy and operates in accordance with international specifications and within the parameters set out by the quality guidelines of ISO 17025 and ISO 9000.

“We also offer analysis of food and food products, food raw material, edible oil, vegetables, fruits, mushroom, spices, milk and milk products, eggs, meat and meat products, water and beverages, cooked and uncooked food, ready-to-eat food, edible salt, jaggery, cereals, pulses, bakery products, among others,” he stated.

Furthermore, the company’s trained personnel follow documented procedures for all calibrations and testing activities that are recognised by international organisations.

“As a supplier of technical products, we provide technical support, applications engineering, quality products, rental, repair and calibration service. We always strive to improve and expand our product lines and provide the newest technologies and products available.
