THE Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) held an orientation week for around 100 newly-enrolled nursing students.

During the week students were introduced to several aspects of university life at RCSI Bahrain.

Several presentations about the nursing programme, registration information, the university’s peer assistance learning programme, and health and safety regulations were also given.

The majority of the new students are sponsored by Tamkeen.

Other sponsoring bodies include the BDF, the Education Ministry and King Hamad University Hospital.
