UoB president receives Salford university delegation

Manama, Mar. 18. (BNA) — President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi has welcomed the scientific cooperation with prestigious universities.

He said such cooperation gives academics and students the opportunity of exchange experience, develop their knowledge, and promote scientific research.

Dr. Janahi received here today a delegation from the British University of Salford, headed by the Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment at Salford Sally Pulvertaft.

They underscored the importance of exchanging expertise through forming small student delegations, and conducting various studies in their fields.

UOB Vice President for Academic Programmes and Graduate Studies Professor. Waheeb Al-Naser briefed the delegation about UOB potential, academic programmes and number of student.

They discussed areas of joint cooperation.

The delegation affirmed that this meeting paves the way for future cooperation, looking forward for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UoB.
