Manama, Jan. 12. (BNA) – Minister of Works Eng. Isam bin Abdulla Khalaf received the outgoing Singaporean Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Bahrain Mr. Wong Kwok Bonn.

The Minister reviewed with the envoy the advanced level of the outstanding friendly Bahrain-Singapore relations and praised his efforts to consolidate those ties in all fields, wishing him every success in his future diplomatic assignments.

They also highlighted Singapore’s advanced experience in development and construction and discussed ways of bolstering cooperation in this field through intensifying exchanged visits between engineers in order to enhance joint coordination and exchange of expertise.

On his part, Singapore’s Ambassador appreciated the Works Ministry’s efforts to develop the kingdom’s infrastructure, reiterating his country’s keenness to strengthen joint cooperation with Bahrain.

He also wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
