Manama, Sep.5(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, affirmed the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of legitimacy in Yemen, restoring its security and stability and achieving the aspirations of the Yemeni people in development and prosperity.

The Foreign Minister expressed the appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain of the historic positions of Yemen and its people in positively supporting Bahrain at all times which reflects the strong and deep ties between the two countries and their peoples.

This came during a phone call that took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen, Mr. Yassin Riad who expressed heartfelt condolences for the martyrdom of 5 brave Bahraini soldiers while carrying out their national and holy duty of working in the operations of restoring hope and supporting legitimacy in Yemen.

Yemen’s Foreign Minister reiterated his appreciation of great efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain and their positions in support of the interests of the Yemeni people and its keenness on restoring Yemen’s security and territorial integrity and unity.
