FUN Summer Programme Trainees with FUN members

Zain Bahrain, the most innovative telecom operator in the Kingdom, kicked off its 2015 Summer Training Program under its Future University Network (F.U.N) initiative.

The unique training program provides university undergraduates the opportunity to gain valuable and real-life workplace experience through different specialized human development programs.

Based on their area of studies, the summer trainees were joined by 18 FUN members and introduced to this year’s development sessions which focused on Lateral Thinking, Customer Retention, Time Management, Emotional Intelligence and Social Media for Youth.

“The aim of the FUN program is to provide students with a rewarding experience and preparing them to enter the job market,” said XX from Zain Bahrain.

“During the summer internship, the trainees will have the opportunity to work on a CSSR initiative that will positively impact the society as well as meeting business requirements,” she added.

The program gives university students the opportunity to nurture their corporate skills under the guidance of Zain experts, who prepare them for the job market and its challenges. The youth development program is focused on feeding the minds of students and sculpting their professional skills through teamwork, collaboration, training and practical field work. It also provides them the opportunity to develop projects and develop innovative business ideas and test them against the real world.
