Manama, June 21 (BNA): HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee asserted that Zain sponsorship of the first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games and the eighth Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Championship (Nasser 8) is a pillar of the success of the championship and reflects the important role of establishments in the private sector in supporting youth and sports initiatives and activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HH Shaikh Nasser said the support received from Zain to Nasser 8 will contribute to the success of the championship and demonstrate the company’s supportive policies to local social events.

HH Shaikh Nasser Media and Information Centre Head and Nasser 8 Supreme Organising Committee Chairman Tawfeeq Al Salehy recently received the company’s contribution from Zain Communications and Public Relations Manager Samya Hussain, who said supporting the championship is a national obligation of the company towards the youth and sports community.

Hussain expressed Zain’s appreciation of the contributions of HH Shaikh Nasser to enrich the Bahraini sports organisation, adding that Nasser 8 is an opportunity for the Bahraini youth to excel and demonstrate their talents.
