$1.1bn contracts for new Bahrain airport terminal

Contracts worth $1.1 billion to build a brand new terminal at Bahrain International Airport (BIA), which will be able to receive nearly 14 million passengers, were awarded yesterday (January 23).

This includes five agreements signed as part of the airport modernisation programme (AMP) on the sidelines of Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) 2016 at Sakhir Airbase, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
