Anthony Davidson takes World Endurance Championship

Britain has notched up another motor racing champion after Anthony Davidson
clinched the World Endurance Championship title.

The Formula One driver has turned into a much-praised Sky Sports pundit but
refused to give up a career behind the wheel, despite a series of
disappointments and injuries.

Fulfilment came yesterday at the Bahrain International Circuit, when Davidson
got his Toyota hybrid to the finish line to become sports cars’ world
champion for the first time, alongside Sebastian Buemi, his team-mate.
