BACA President meets EDB Chief

Manama, Nov.8 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Officer Khalid Al-Rumaihi and discussed future projects which would upgrade the cultural infrastructure in Bahrain.


She commended constructive BACA-EDB cooperation, which yields the annual Spring of Culture Festival and a string of other events, stressing the importance of culture in spearheading sustainable economic, tourism and social development. Al-Rumaihi commended BACA-led role in enriching Bahrain’s cultural life and encouraging cultural tourism, affirming the EDB readiness to contribute to the efforts.
