Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azzam bin Mubarak Al-Sabah.

Shaikha Mai discussed with the ambassador ways to strengthen bilateral cultural ties.

She affirmed the depth of the deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, lauding the advanced level of the cultural and human exchange between the two brotherly countries, affirming Bahrain’s continuous efforts to enhance cultural communication with Arab countries, especially Kuwait.

BACA president highlighted BACA’s 2016 goal of promoting the kingdom’s cultural and tourist sites, and presented the ambassador a book entitled “Bahrain, Your Destination”.

The two sides agreed to organise a tour of tourist and cultural sites for ambassadors in the kingdom, as part of BACA’s activities in 2016.

Shaikh Azzam expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikha Mai for her constant support to cultural cooperation, reiterating his readiness to cooperate with BACA to enhance Bahraini-Kuwaiti cultural relations.
