Bahrain condemns terrorist bombing in Libya

Manama, Jan.8(BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the terrorist bombing that targeted a police training center in Zliten in Libya, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people, expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured as a result of this terrible terrorist act aimed at causing sedition and drive a wedge between the brotherly Libyan people, fragment their unity and disperse their power.

While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms Bahrain’s solidarity with Libya and to stand by its side to overcome this difficult phase, it urges the need to implement the political agreement that was reached recently and the formation of a national unity government, and calls on all the Libyan parties to uphold the supreme interest of the country instead of narrow interests so as to contribute to the elimination of violence and terrorism and to overcome all the challenges facing the country, achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people for security and stability as well as maintain the safety of Libya and its territorial integrity.
