Cityview, a Bahrain real estate development company, has announced that it is to resume construction work on its Landmark Cityview building project and plans to deliver all units in December.

The announcement by Cityview chairman Abdulhakeem Al Mutawa underscores the commitment of the company to complete the 23 storey residential apartment building as soon as possible, a statement said.

The Landmark Cityview project was put on hold in 2011 due to circumstances beyond the developer’s control, the statement added.

Al Mutawa said: “Determined to deliver the project as soon as possible, the Cityview board of directors have taken major decisions over the past few months and made key appointments to ensure construction work resumes and finishes as soon as possible.”

Cityview said it has deployed necessary resources and proceeded to the next stage, tendering for the remaining construction works, and is now working with the aim of completing the full project in December.

“The board is determined to deliver on its commitments, and will work to ensure the project is completed to the highest possible standards in the shortest possible time,” he said.

The Landmark Cityview project is a residential tower in the Seef/Al Sanabis District close to Dana Mall. The project comprises a total of 88 apartments.
