Doha, Jan. 22 (BNA): Qatari Minister of Transport, Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, attended the opening of Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS 2016) at the Sakhir Airbase.

It was opened by HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of HM the King, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS 2016), with participation of 139 companies and 75 delegations.

High-level delegations from KSA, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey, USA, Czech Republic, Georgia, India, Russia, France, Hungary, UK, US, Turkey, and Brazil will be attending the airshow to take part in scheduled meetings, represented by transport and economy ministers, civil aviation chiefs, CEOs of airline companies and senior executives from government and private sectors.

The Qatari minister met with his Bahraini counterpart Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed to discuss bilateral ties in transportation field and means to develop them, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
