Bahrain to Chair ALECSO Executive Board for the Next Two Years

Minister of Education Dr. Majed bin Ali Al Nuaimi announced that Bahrain will chair the Executive Board of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO)

On the occasion, he said that the victory adds to the kingdom’s rich record of landmark achievements and confirms its outstanding performance during the past period during which it chaired ALECSO’s General Conference and Executive Board together for two consecutive years, which reflected positively on the organisation’s programmes and work.


Dr. Al Nuaimi affirmed that Bahrain will exert all needed efforts to reinforce ALECSO role, praising the wise leadership’s constant support for the Ministry of Education.

It is to be noted that Undersecretary for Education and Curricular Affairs at the Education Ministry Dr. Abdullah Yussef Al Mutawa was elected unopposed as Chairman of ALESCO’s Executive Board for the next two years.
