Bahrain to continue reform march

CROWN Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s resolve to go ahead with the reform and development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad.

He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace yesterday Yemeni parliament chairman Yahya Ali Al Rai and his delegation. Parliament chairman Khalifa Al Dhahrani was also present.

The Crown Prince was presented with a letter to His Majesty from Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hedi.

Prince Salman hailed Yemen’s clear and unwavering stances on Arab and Islamic issues. He also pointing out the need to support efforts made to maintain Yemen’s security and stability and pave the way for sustainable development there.

The Crown Prince praised the solid historic ties binding both countries and voiced his keenness to further bolster bilateral relations for the benefit of all citizens.

The Yemeni parliament chairman conveyed the greetings of Yemeni President to Bahrain’s leadership as well as his best wishes for more progress and prosperity to Bahrain.

He voiced his country’s respect and appreciation of Bahrain’s supportive stances to Yemen’s stability and unity.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince’s court adviser for political and economic affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince’s Court head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and parliament first deputy chairman Abdulla Khalaf Al Dossari.
