Kuwait, Jan 7 (BNA): Kuwait’s Minister of Information also Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, praised the diversity of tourism in Bahrain and the employment of Bahraini cultural heritage in tourism’s favour.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency today following concluding his visit to Bahrain to attend the inauguration ceremony of Manama, the Capital of Gulf Tourism 2016, the Kuwaiti minister expressed great pride in the wide variety of cultural and heritage centers, theaters and museums he witnessed in Bahrain, which are source of pride for GCC people. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further successes to attain in the cultural and tourism fields.
The minister congratulated Bahrain on the launch of Manama, the Capital of Gulf Tourism 2016. He extended gratitude to Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Al-Zayani for inviting him to participate in the event and the fine hospitality, commending the efforts of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa.
He hailed the deep-rooted bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas, chiefly tourism and cultural sides.
