It was concluded by BNA Director Mohannad Suleiman and EFE Arabic Services Director General Foued Abdulrahim as well as Regional Director and Legal Representative in the Middle East Enrique Rubio.
Mr. Suleiman said the agreement stems from BNA keenness to solidify relations of media cooperation with various agencies and prestigious mass media.
He added the aim is to convey Bahrain’s voice in various international languages and project the kingdom’s numerous economic, political and social achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

On his part, Mr. Foued Abdulrahim hailed media cooperation with BNA, pointing out that the agreement will help convey Bahrain’s voice to the main mass media in the European Continent and Latin America.

He also underscored both sides’ keenness to further enhance cooperation in the media field.

It is to note that EFE news agency ranks fourth among major news agencies and the first diffusing news in Spanish internationally. It has around 3000 journalists and reporters among its staff in 120 cities across the globe. It diffuses news in Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese and English.

The agreement was concluded as part of BNA plans to extend its presence worldwide by coordinating with various Arabic and international news agencies.
