BOC launches ‘Tawasul’

THE Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) recently launched ‘Tawasul’, a new initiative aimed to maintain strong bonds with the first generation of sports personnel in Bahrain.

BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar, along with high-ranking committee officials, visited former Bahrain Volleyball Association and Arab Volleyball Organisation president Mohammed Hamada at his residence to enquire about his health.

Askar conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his best wishes to Hamada and a speedy recovery.

On his part, Hamad thanked BOC for the kind gesture.
