British students attend training course in Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): A group of British students are attending a training course at the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) National Sport Medical Centre to meet the requirements of their graduation and exercise their profession.
The trainees are studying physiotherapy at the University of Bradford in Britain. Three British students enrolled at the same university also attended a three-week training course last year. National Sport Medical Centre director Khalid Al-Sheikh said the presence of the trainees reflects the reputation of facility on the regional and international levels.
“This is the second time Bradford University sends a group of students to attend a training course in recognition of the advanced standard of the centre”, he said. He unveiled BOC plans to launch the e-appointment service, set up a medical test lab and open specialized clinics, in addition to building partnerships with world-standard hospitals to attract top physiotherapist and practitioners.
