Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed R. Alzayani received the United Nations World Tourism (UNWTO) Consultant Ludwig G. Rieder.
The meeting, attended by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) Acting Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, discussed topics of common interest and means to benefit from international expertise in tourism, exhibitions and conferences sector. The meeting also reviewed the strategic plan of BTEA for short and long term implementation plans.
The minister highlighted the dedication of the government to develop economic sectors and update related legislation to meet regional and international changes.
