Campaign backing Salman FIFA presidency launched

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): Eleven Arab and international human rights organisations have launched a campaign in support of Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa in his bid to succeed Sepp Blatter as FIFA President. London-based Gulf European Centre for Human Rights Deputy-Secretary General announced the supportive campaign.

The campaign is being backed by Gulf European Centre for Human Rights, Karama Society for Human Rights, The Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (BFLUF), The Universal Message of Human Rights Organisation, Alliance for Arab Human Rights Court and Yemeni Coalition for Human Rights. Five other rights associations are supporting the campaign, which was launched under the slogan: “Yes for Salman FIFA Presidency”.
