Qatar claimed an important 29-24  victory over Japan in the 17th Asian Handball Championship  at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town yesterday. Sai Raghav B. claimed victory over Jaber Abdul A’al in under-12 boys’ section of the fourth E.K. Bahrain: Al Alawi wins FootGolf Open

Yousif Al Alawi won Bahrain’s first FootGolf Open Tournament at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 64 strokes.  Abdulla Al Khalifa was a close runner-up with 66 strokes and Abdulla Hamad narrowly clinched third place on count back with 71 strokes.  The event was sponsored by Volkswagen and boasted a top prize of a Volkswagen Golf GTI experience. BAHRAIN claimed a vital 28-26 win against UAE  in the 17th Asian Handball Championship at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town yesterday. Bahraini court sentences teenage boy to 130 years in prison
