A Bahraini pilot flying for a Saudi-led coalition battling rebels in Yemen survived a jet crash earlier today along the kingdom’s southern border, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency. On Tuesday, Bahrain’s official news agency BNA reported that three of Bahraini servicemen were killed along Saudi Arabia’s southern border in an accident, without providing more details. MANAMA (Sputnik) – The Bahraini authorities have expressed support for the actions of Saudi Arabia after Riyadh executed a prominent Shiite cleric, the country’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Demonstrators carrying pictures of the cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, faced security forces in a standoff in the village of Abu-Saiba, west of the capital Manama, Reuters reported.
