Cold, stormy weather to prevail from tomorrow

Manama, Dec. 31 (BNA): The Bahrain Meteorological Directorate (BMD) forecasts a cold spell, partly cloudy and stormy weather to prevail in the kingdom as from Friday and lasting until Monday with a chance of downpours associated with high speed winds.

The Directorate cautioned from strong, high-speed winds and urged everyone, especially seafarers, to take the necessary precautions.

The Directorate said the winds will range between light and moderate southeasterly directional, later transforming into active, high-speed northwesterly winds.
