Deputy premier receives Iraqi foreign minister

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibya Palace today the Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, currently on a visit to the kingdom to participate in the first edition of the Ministerial Meeting of the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum, hosted by Bahrain.
The deputy premier discussed with Dr. Jaafari ways to enhance relations between the two brotherly countries, reiterating the kingdom’s support to all efforts aiming to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations in the region.

He wished Iraq further security, stability, progress and prosperity.

The Iraqi foreign minister thanked the deputy premier for audience, affirming his country’s interest in consolidating ties and bolstering cooperation with Bahrain.
